About Us

Rooted Resilience Counseling was founded on the belief that healing and growth are possible despite life’s most difficult experiences. The practice was created with the intention of creating a space where difficult topics can be approached with both compassion and honesty and a place where clients feel supported yet challenged to move toward meaningful change. Clients often come to counseling when anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life stressors begin to feel overwhelming. Rooted Resilience Counseling provides a supportive environment where people can explore these experiences and make steps toward change.

At Rooted Resilience Counseling, therapy is grounded in a trauma-informed and strength-based approach. Counseling is not only a place to be heard but also a place to grow. Therapy should encourage insight, accountability, and forward movement. Sessions are approached with clear goals which aids in helping clients better understand patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build resilience that lasts beyond the therapy room.

The practice also has a strong commitment to supporting first responders, military personnel, and others working in high-stress environments. These professions often require individuals to carry experiences that are difficult to process alone, and therapy can provide a place to address those realities with understanding and respect.

Seeking counseling takes courage. At Rooted Resilience Counseling, the goal is to create a space where clients feel both supported and challenged. Healing is not only about understanding the past but also about building the strength and resilience needed to move forward with clarity and purpose.

“As any therapist will tell you, healing involves discomfort. But so does refusing to heal. And over time, refusing to heal is always more painful.”
